Hair is high in nitrogen, and when combined with water, it becomes biodegradable and acts as a slow-release fertilizer for soil.

All hair cut at Luna Loft is composted, and together, we lower our carbon footprint, turning waste into fuel that feeds the plants that help keep our air clean.

All color used in my suite are vegan.

One of my biggest concerns with offering Color Analysis was the potential for clients to turn to fast fashion platforms like Shein or Amazon after discovering their palette.

I took initiatve, developing innovative tools and easy options for clients to use after their appointment.

This user-friendly source makes shopping sustainably for clothes online easy, so clients don't have to choose between convenience or sustainability.

Unsustainably sourced hair product ingredients are often derived from petroleum or non-renewable resources. This causes significant environmental damage, including aquatic toxicity, microplastic pollution, and habitat destruction.

I make the active choice to carry vegan, cruelty-free brands that source their ingredients sustainably.

All decor and furniture you see in my suite were thrifted and restored by me, each piece purchased from local shops.

Creating a space that felt loved, cozy, and unlike any other salon was important to me. I wanted to showcase the creativity and beauty that can be found in shopping sustainably. 

I've partnered with local vintage and resale stores here in Knoxville for my Color Analysis.
