Sensory & Accesibility
Luna Loft Salon is committed to creating an inclusive, welcoming environment for every client. Whether you’re autistic, have ADHD, have sensory sensitivities, live with a disability, or simply benefit from additional accommodations, I want you to feel comfortable and supported during your visit. Below, you’ll find some of the accommodations and accessibility options I’ve put in place to help make your experience at Luna Loft as safe, comfortable, and stress-free as possible.

Personalized Sensory Experience
Being a salon suite, rather than a salon with its own building, limits sensory options.
Here's a list of customizable sensory options during your appointment:

Silent Appointments
Sometimes keeping up conversation during a service can feel overwhelming or stressful. I offer silent appointments, limiting conversation to specific appointment needs. Sometimes I enjoy the quiet just as much as you do!
Nuanced Needs
Every person, whether they are neurotypical or not, has a sensory preference with their hair. If there is something specific you require for your hair (whether that's a comfort piece to twirl, an area that bothers you, etc.), you can add that to your appointment notes and I'll be sure to be cognisant of that need during your service.
Disability Accomodations
Building Access
There are parking spaces available directly in front of the building.
Wheelchair Accessiblity
The building and room is wheelchair accessible, but there are no seating alternatives for the cutting chair or shampoo bowl. Getting in and out of the wheelchair would be required for services.
Hard of Hearing
If conversation is diffuclt, select the silent appointment while booking. Feel free to include whatever information I may need to know either in your appointment form or via text prior to the appointment.
